Yesterday was the official launch of our exhibition and we’re delighted to say that the 3 intense days of setting up were all very much worth it!
Over a hundred guests turned out for the ‘meet the artists’ event in the gallery, where wine and conversation flowed. To our surprise (and delight) a number of pieces have already got those little red ‘sold’ dots on them, and various artisan items walked out the door with enthusiastic buyers during the opening.
After a short formal launch and acknowledgements, all three artists were able to stroll around and chat with guests, including a keen young journalist from Curtin University. We wish to thank everyone who came to support us at the opening event and hope you can make a time to visit (again, if necessary) and check out the exhibition in more peaceful circumstances, anytime throughout September.
